We are committed to supporting every child so they can thrive, learn and feel confident in school. We have strong processes in place to identify and support children who may have special educational needs (SEN).
We work closely with parents. If we have any concerns about your child’s learning or wellbeing, we will always talk with you first. Equally, if you have any worries about your child’s development, please get in touch—early support can make a big difference and help prevent concerns from growing.
All our teachers are experienced in supporting children with a wide range of needs. In every classroom, teaching is carefully planned, delivered and reviewed to meet different abilities, interests and learning styles. Most children make good progress through this approach.
If a child’s progress in a particular area is significantly below expectations, they may be identified as having SEN. In these cases, we employ a graduated approach; monitoring closely and putting appropriate support and interventions in place straight away to help them succeed.
